A solo sail round Britain to support The Ellen MacArthur Trust - helping young people recover from cancer through sailing. To find out how you can help go to www.justgiving.co.uk/ivanthompson
Hope the Fender Board has proved it's worth Ivan. Did you get a chance to head into Loch Leven (pronounced LEEven - not Levven ! :-) )to the moorings at the fish resturaunt?.
ReplyDeleteAlso a beautiful wee bay to anchor further down called Airds Bay, round the corner from Port Appin. Anchor up, row ashore and walk around the corner for a pint - perfect on a nice evening.
If you happen to go into Dunstaffnage, please say hello to Dave on Silkie (Hurley 22) and Dave Banks at the Alba Sailing Chandlery - very helpful guy, so if you need anything, he's the man to sort you out !
Best of luck and fair winds.
Ron & "Rosally".
PS - I told you Rattray Head would be bouncy :-)
That looks great Ivan! Keep going! Nearly a third of the way there...!
